Dining Services

Thanksgiving week hours

‌All Dining Services locations will have during the week of Thanksgiving. The Spa will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 22, through Sunday, Nov. 26. Burgess Café, Murray-Aikins Dining Hall, and Atrium Café will close at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday for the holiday. Murray-Aikins Dining Hall and Atrium Café will reopen at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, for dinner. All Dining Services locations will resume regular hours on Monday, Nov. 27.

‌Pickup for Thanksgiving breads and pie orders 

‌Pre-ordered Thanksgiving breads and pie orders may be picked up from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, or from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Atrium Café.

‌Children’s book drive ‌

‌T³ó±ð Reading Minds Scribner Seminar is hosting a campus-wide book drive to collect new and good-as-new used children’s books, Nov. 27 through Dec. 1. All books will be donated to the Saratoga Children's Literacy League, which provides free books to the children of Saratoga County. Books can be dropped off at the Spa during lunch hours or in Tisch 142. Contact Becca Johnson with questions.

 

‌Research writing workshop 

‌Writing Center peer tutors are hosting a Research Writing Workshop at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, in Scribner Library, room 213. How to find sources, use direct evidence, and incorporate quotations and analysis will be discussed; doughnuts and hot chocolate will be served during the event.

‌Jingle Bell 5K Run ‌

Athletics annual apparel sale 

‌Athletics will host its annual sale of new and used apparel from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, in the Williamson Sports Center’s rec gym. Cash, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Cards, and checks will be accepted for payment.

‌Winter Dance Concert 

‌T³ó±ð Department of Dance invites you to its Winter Concert, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2. The concert will feature work created by our faculty as well as a world premiere piece created by guest choreographer Larry Keigwin.

Athletics News

The 17th edition of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Thanksgiving Invitational Hockey Tournament is set for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26, at the Saratoga Springs City Rink. The event features four of the nation’s top teams from four different conferences. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ (6-0-1, New England Hockey Conference) will play Tufts University (0-2, New England Small College Athletic Conference) at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Salve Regina University (8-1, Commonwealth Coast Conference) takes on SUNY Brockport (2-5, State University of New York Athletic Conference) play at 5 p.m. The consolation game is at 1 p.m. on Sunday and will be followed by the championship game at 4 p.m. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ has won the last three tournament titles.
