Lighting up Celebration Weekend

With the campus glowing in green, fireworks, and opportunities to celebrate all that has defined and continues to define ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ community came together for an exciting Celebration Weekend filled with fun, family, and friends.
This year’s festivities were particularly meaningful as ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ marks its College Centennial during the 2022-23 academic year. In celebration of 100 years of creative thought, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ lit up Case Green in ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ green for two nights. Saturday night also featured a vibrant fireworks display.
The traditional weekend welcoming ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ families included opportunities to explore campus, tours of the and Art Gallery, faculty presentations, chances to learn about unique student experiences on and off campus made possible by the Zankel Experience Network and other programs, athletics competitions, networking opportunities, receptions for first-year students, a Filene Scholar concert commemorating Helen Filene Ladd '22, and much, much more. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ 600 families and 2,000 people participated.
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s origins extend to the Young Women’s Industrial Club founded by Lucy ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Scribner in 1903. In 1922, the New York State Board of Regents officially recognized the institution’s collegiate status, and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ College came into being as a fully accredited, four-year institution of higher education.
