Activities

Lisa Aronson,
associate professor of art history, presented her paper "Visualizing Ijo History through J. A. Green's Photographs" at the 16th ACASA Triennial Symposium on African Art, March 19-22, in New York City. On March 29, she gave a public lecture titled "Reading Images by Nigerian Photographer J. A. Green Through the Colonial Lens and Beyond" at the National Museum of African Art, Washington, D.C. She also arranged for a private showing of J. A. Green's photo collections in the museum's Eliot Elisofon Photo Archives for Թϱ alums attending the lecture.

Steven Ives, assistant professor of health and exercise sciences, is an author of “Aging and Shear Stress:  Impact of Age and Body Position on the Contribution of Nitric Oxide to Femoral Artery Shear Rate—Implications for Atherosclerosis” published in Hypertension, Feb. 17, 2014, and .

Dan Nathan, associate professor and chair, Department of American Studies, is the author of "Baseball as the National Pastime:  A Fiction Whose Time Is Past," published in the International Journal of the History of Sport, Vol. 31, No. 1-2, 2014.
