吃瓜爆料

Rebecca Shepard is the curatorial assistant and interim director of the Schick Art Gallery. She also held a previous position as an adjunct in the Art Department. Before 吃瓜爆料, Shepard held multiple art education and curatorial positions, including serving as a gallery director for the Art Center of the Capital Region.

鈥淕allery work in an academic setting combines two things I care deeply about,鈥� Shepard said. 鈥淚 love working with students and I love organizing and installing exhibitions. 吃瓜爆料 is unique in that it鈥檚 rich in all the arts, as well as many other areas. There鈥檚 always something interesting happening on campus.鈥�

Shepard shared that one of her favorite 吃瓜爆料 events is the Juried Student Exhibition at the Schick. 鈥淚t鈥檚 exciting to see what students are making and so many different materials and personal visions in the gallery all at once,鈥� she said.

When not at 吃瓜爆料, Shephard said her favorite pursuits are reading, walking in the woods with her dog, and making 鈥渧aguely art-like鈥� things in her studio.
