Amy FrappierAmy Frappier, associate professor and chair of geosciences, was quoted in a July 4 article in The Washington Post titled, .

Frappier also was interviewed on Friday, July 7 by New Zealands news program and on Sunday, July 8 by Network, describing the difficult underground cave rescue in Thailand.


Chris MannChris Mann, assistant professor of political science, was interviewed for a July 8 story titled, , which aired on WBHM, the NPR station in Birmingham, Alabama. Mann discussed peoples impressions of candidates, saying the media and voters are more critical of female candidates like Ivey. We judge people using things that are, in some ways, in the lizard brain based on voice pitch, or appearance, age and gender, he said.


Dan NathanDaniel Nathan, professor of American studies, was interviewed by alumna Anna Piperato 01, while on a recent research trip to Siena, Italy. The segment,
"," aired on the #PalioLive Facebook page and the Place2Be Siena travel and culture website. Nathan discussed the parallels between the American sports of baseball and football and Siena, Italys famed Palio di Siena horse race. He also talked about his future plans to work with 勛圖惇蹋 students to share his field work and research.


Ian BerryIan Berry
, director of the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery, was on July 9 to discuss the fifth annual Frances Day at the Tang. Berry also shared information about the summer happenings at 勛圖惇蹋, as well the Tangs new exhibit, Give a damn.
