Jason BrevesJason Breves, associate professor of biology, co-authored an article, in the American Journal of Physiology: Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology. 

Juliana HanleyKris CoveyCharle BettigoleA paper co-authored by Charlie Bettigole, director of the GIS Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Kristofer Covey, assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, and Juliana Hanle, landowner outreach and data acquisition manager, titled , has been published in the journal Soil Systems. The findings are based on more than 1,700 individual soil samples taken across more than 17,000 acres of rangeland in Oklahoma and Texas.

Michael Ennis McMillanMichael C. Ennis-McMillan, associate professor of anthropology, published the article in Open Anthropology: A Public Journal of the American Anthropological Association (volume 10, issue 1). Cathy Lynne Costin is a co-author, and Sydney Dietz 22 was an editorial assistant for this issue. This article analyzes anthropological studies of the physiological and psychological effects of hallucinogenic chemicals from naturally occurring plants, with an emphasis on the ways people evaluate and make sense of altered states of consciousness.

Joowan ParkJoowon Park, assistant professor of anthropology, has been elected as a board member of the . In addition, he was recently re-appointed to the National Unification Advisory Council for another two-year term, a constitutional institution to advise the South Korean president on reunification policies with North Korea. 

Pushi PrasadPushkala Prasad, professor of management, presented her paper From Class Reductionism to Color Consciousness: Interrogating Racial Capitalism at the Annual Meetings of the International Studies Association (ISA) in early April. 

A.J. SchnellerA.J. Schneller, assistant professor of environmental studies, is a lead author on the article in the Journal of Environmental Education, along with Gabe Feldman-Schwartz '22, Isabel Beard '20, Andrew Rhodes '20, Brandon Wilson Radcliffe '20, Audrey Erickson '20, and Isaac Bardin '20. The paper contributes to the field of experiential environmental education and advocates for a better understanding of the outcomes of pedagogies that emphasize social justice youth development, issues of power and justice, and the enhancement of social action and critical consciousness.  

Ken SiderKen Sider, visiting assistant professor in education studies, was inducted into the Oneonta Job Corps Academy Hall of Fame for his long-term commitment to the students in this residential education and job training program. Sider taught at the Academy in 1986, supervised an academic tutoring partnership with SUNY Oneonta from 2004 to 2019, and created a public-school partnership enabling Job Corps students to tutor elementary school children in the Oneonta City School District in 2015.
