Jesse Staigar, assistant supervisor of resident dining, is the first member of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s Dining Services team to receive a bachelor's degree from ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ while working full time. He will graduate on May 20 with a degree in management and business.

Michael Swellander, visiting assistant professor of German, won the inaugural Jeffrey L. Sammons Heine Essay Prize for his article "" The prize, awarded by The North American Heine Society, is given to the best essay published or accepted for publication by an emerging scholar (pre-tenure) in North America that contributes to advancing research in the life, work, and times of Heinrich Heine.
