Paul Arciero, professor of health and human physiological sciences, was featured by for his research on the PRISE Lifestyle strategies of nutrition and exercise. They specifically highlighted his research on protein pacing and best time of day to exercise for women and men.

Paul Benzon, associate professor of English, had his interview with artist Kameelah Janan Rasheed reprinted in , a journal that explores the intersection of typography, language, and power. 

Joseph Cermatori, associate professor of English, moderated a public, post-show discussion with stage director R. B. Schlather and his artistic collaborators about their production of G. F. Handel's 1725 opera Rodelinda. at Hudson Hall in Hudson, New York. Cermatori also served as the project's dramaturg. 

Monica Das, associate professor of economics, published the paper, Which Way to Go Now? Financing Economic Growth in the Sustainable Development Era in .

Evan Mack, senior teaching professor of music, was featured in a story on about his work with , an organization that has collected, fixed, and donated hundreds of instruments to schools in northern New York since its founding.

Murat C. Yildiz, assistant professor of Middle Eastern history, delivered the Harold Seymour Lecture in Sports History at Cornell University. The lecture, titled "Biceps and Balls on the Bosphorus: 'The Ottoman World of Sports'," is connected to his current book project on the creation of a shared sports culture among Muslims, Christians, and Jews in late Ottoman Istanbul.
