Email Jennifer

A music and psychology major at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, Jennifer went on to receive her Masters in Curriculum and Design, from what was then Castleton State College (now Castleton University), in Vermont. She combined the three degrees and had a successful 37-year career in Music Education. Over the years, she taught all the way from pre-kindergarten through college, making her way from VT, to NY, to MA, and finally back to VT, where she taught in her hometown of Rutland for most of her career, until finally deciding it was time to give someone else a chance.

During her junior year at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, Jennifer was her dorm president; however, she is most proud to have started The Accents, with Bonnie Gray Lindquist ’81. After graduation, and missing a cappella, she started The Cats Meow (at the University of VT), The Noteables (in Katonah, NY), and The Unpredictables (in Rutland, VT).

Staying involved with ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ has always been a priority. Jennifer started as a class agent, and then, for as long as she can remember, has been co-chair of the Alumni Fund (with Angie Foss) and co-chair of the reunion committee (with Angie and Chuck Kaufman). Prior to the Alumni Board, she served six years on the nominating committee. She is also a proud parent of Samantha ’16.
