Jason Breves, assistant professor of biology, was a plenary speaker at the 13th International Congress on the Biology of Fish conference in Calgary on July 16. His lecture titled 鈥淗ormonal control of teleost ionocytes: mechanisms of prolactin action,鈥� described his laboratory鈥檚 ongoing research into the endocrine control of salt and water balance in fishes.
