Long-term campus tree plan
As construction of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center continues, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ affirms its commitment to sustainability and the stewardship of the Earth in line with its current strategic plan and Campus Master Plan. The College will be planting nearly 1.5 times as many trees as have been removed for the project: 52 trees are now being planted along North Broadway, 142 trees (along with 1,000 shrubs and perennials) will be planted as part of the McCaffery-Wagman project, and another 50 new trees will be planted elsewhere on campus by the end of next year.
Admissions Discovery Tour
The Admissions Office invites campus offices and student groups to participate in the Discovery Tour, an accepted student's day program for the BIPOC student community. Our goal is to highlight campus resources for candidates considering ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, including academics, intercultural life, and student life, as well as the perspectives of current students. , to participate in our Resource Roundtable session from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, on the second floor of Murray-Aikins Dining Hall. Summer housing information
Students interested in living on campus this summer are invited to stop by the summer housing information table in the Murray-Aikins Dining Hall atrium from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, or Thursday, April 13, to learn more. Applications for summer housing are now open.
Committee on Intercultural and Global Understanding (CIGU) office hour
The Committee on Intercultural and Global Understanding (CIGU), ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s main shared governance diversity, equity, and inclusion committee, will hold an open office hour from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 14. All students, staff, and faculty are invited to request a 10-minute, virtual appointment. To register, please email Alberta Parsons. Requests will be handled in the order they are received.
Good Friday and Easter services
Wilson Chapel will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for . All members of the campus community are invited to gather at 4:30 p.m. outside the chapel to walk the Stations of the Cross.
