Test of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Urgent Notification System (SUNS)
Emergency communications through the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Urgent Notification System (SUNS) will be tested at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. At that time, tests of the alert system will be sent via text message, email, and voicemail to all students, faculty, and staff registered with SUNS. An alert test banner will also appear at the top of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ College homepage and on digital signage across campus. Campus community members who are not enrolled in SUNS may register here.
Moseley Lecture with Giuseppe Faustini
Professor of Italian Giuseppe Faustini will deliver this year’s Edwin M. Moseley Faculty Lecture, “,’” at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in Gannett Auditorium. The lecture will illustrate Dante's pictorial creativity and its impact on the visual and performing arts.
Call for nominations: President’s Awards for Leadership and Service
The Office of the President invites community members to nominate deserving individuals or teams for a 2024 . Students, faculty members, exempt staff, non-exempt staff, or union personnel may be nominated (self-nominations will not be considered). To nominate a person or team, please and submit it via email or campus mail to the Office of the President by 4 p.m. Monday, March 25.
President’s office hours
President Conner will hold office hours from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 4. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute, in-person appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order that they are received.
Entrepreneurial Artist Forum
The 11th Annual Entrepreneurial Artist Forum, “,” will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at the Tang. Panelists include Tobi Ewing '15, Monica Steffey '19, Natalie Wilson '22, and Jamel Mosely, this year's Creative Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Dean Dorothy Mosby will open with remarks and Brian Vergara ’24 will moderate the discussion.
