‌Chair massages available

‌T³ó±ð Live More, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ worksite wellness program, in partnership with MVP Health Care, is offering free chair massages to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ employees on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from noon to 3 p.m. in the ‌Wyckoff Center Seminar Room and in North Hall, room 130. Anyone interested in signing up for a 10-minute session with one of two licensed massage therapists .

'Foundations in Creating an Affirming Campus' workshops ‌

‌Institutional Diversity and the Wyckoff Center are pleased to offer a series of workshops, "Foundations in Creating an Affirming Campus for Trans & Nonbinary Students," this Friday, Oct. 11. Led by Lyndon Cudlitz and Nala Simone Toussaint, these interactive sessions will provide ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ community members with a deeper understanding of gender identity and expression, as well as best practices for communicating with and about trans and non-binary students. Registration for workshops faculty and students‌ remain open, while the workshop for staff is now full.

‌BTCIS Celebration and passports 

‌T³ó±ð Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences (BTCIS) Celebration is from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. There will be a reception at 2:30 in the Glotzbach Atrium and a BTCIS open house from 3 to 5:30 p.m. All are invited to participate and get their Passport to Discovery stamped as they visit science departments to earn a 20% discount at the SkidShop. ‌Tuition Benefit and Tuition Exchange Program Info Session

‌Staff from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Human Resources will lead a workshop addressing admission and financial aid requirements and offering an overview of the Tuition Exchange Program from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, in Emerson Auditorium. The session should be particularly helpful to employees with high school age dependents. Please review the Tuition Exchange Annual Report for information on the 2024-25 academic year.

‌Seats available for New York City bus trip ‌

‌T³ó±ð Music Department is offering $30 seats on a coach bus to New York City on Saturday, Oct. 19. Departure is at 7 a.m. in Case Lot, and return is at 7 p.m. from Lincoln Center. Payment should be brought to Vicki Tremper at Zankel 111 to reserve a seat.

‌Writing Center workshops ‌

‌At 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, peer tutors will host workshops on thesis building in Library 213. The Writing Center workshops will review essential structural and organizational skills to make students feel more confident in college writing. Cider doughnuts and cocoa will also be served. Coming off its first conference win, field hockey hosts Oneonta in a non-league game at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Wagner Park. The women’s tennis doubles team of Konika Dhull ’24 and Grace Truong ’24 will represent ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ at the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia, starting Thursday. Home tournaments take over the calendar for the weekend; Saturday and Sunday, men’s golf has its annual ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Invitational at the Saratoga Spa State Park Course. Men’s tennis has its home tournament, the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Open, at the outdoor courts at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center (rain site: Wilton YMCA). Also on Saturday, women’s soccer returns home to host local rival Rensselaer at 1 p.m. in hopes of continuing its unbeaten start to the season (7-0-2).
